Focus on Abortion: Americans Share Their StoriesTraveling Exhibit by Roslyn Banish on display Feb

Cathedral of the Rockies lobby

717 N. 11th Street, Boise

Co-sponsored with the Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

One out of four women in the US will have an abortion

during their reproductive years.

Focus on Abortion introduces the often-missing and most important stories in the abortion conversation:

those who have experienced abortion.

Featuring a diverse selection of backgrounds, generations, genders; both individuals and families; each photo and story reflects those who have had an abortion or are close to the abortion experience, including partners and professionals who provide abortion care. Each person is represented by a photographic portrait and a first-person narrative. In sharing these moving and nuanced stories, this exhibit helps mitigate the profound stigma that surrounds abortion.
