About the Event

The King of Glory’s Social Justice Committee will be offering a 6 session-study during the Sunday adult education on May 7, 14, 21, 28, and June 4 and 11. The ELCA is inviting congregations to study the topic of Civic Life and Faith and send comments that will be considered in its draft social statement.

To download the study, learn more about the task force’s work, and get prepared for our Sunday school sessions, go to elca.org/civicsandfaith.

Each session includes watching a video, group discussions, and case studies taken from everyday life. At the end of each session, the participants will fill up a response form to communicate with the task force on the material covered.

We strongly encourage the King of Glory’s members to participate in this study and make their voices heard.

Pastor Meggan Manlove from the Trinity church in Nampa is offering the same class on Zoom, starting after Easter. If you are interested in participating, contact her at prmanlove.trinitynampa@hotmail.com.
