Youth
Provides for a
structure to support a community of fellowship for the youth of the
congregation and the community. This is accomplished through 4 subgroups:
High School, Jr. High School, Grades 4, 5, & 6, Grades 1, 2, 3.
There are 4 youth groups at King of Glory Lutheran:
Senior High (grades 9 – 12)
Junior High (grades 6 – 8)
3rd – 5th Grade
1st & 2nd Grade
Senior High Youth
The Senior High youth
group is for youth grades 9 – 12. This group participates in, fun and
fellowship, service projects, and travel.
unior High Youth
The Junior High Group is for youth in grades 6 – 8. Progressive
dinners, boat races, lock-ins, rock-a-thons, movie nights, and service
projects are some of the activities that these teens are involved in.
3rd – 5th Grade
This group meets once a month for fellowship, fun, and service projects.
Some examples are ice cream socials, game days, crafts, pool parties, trips
to Zoo Boise, and service projects.
1st & 2nd Grade
This group of children meets once a quarter for fellowship and fun. We have
had game days, crafts, pool parties, Easter egg dyeing parties.
